This is where I start talking...

Okay So this Journal is going to be about both 'The Sims 3' and my first every time voting!!! Scary stuff. If you're not intrested then just chuck this journal away *sniffle* so mean.

I may have changed the world...

Okay so for those of you who didn't know, yesterday was voting day here in the UK. I can't remember what for, but it was for something and I did get talked to about it (so have no fear, star made the right choice... she hopes) As many of you know I turned 18 in december last year and thus I am now the legal age to vote, something that my mother kindly pointed out to me yesterday morning. And thus, I was some how dragged down to my nearest polling station.
Its a strange expriance voting. You know its could possibly change something for you, but when you're thrown in at the deep end having no idea what any of them stand for... making that big cross in the box is not as stressful as you might think.
So yeah I did vote and yeah I might not of done it completly with my heart and soul - hey I didn't even know I was voting until 1 o'clock - but I hope fair trade will get futher sometime soon. So I think I did the right thing.

So yeah down to the real bulk of this journal. The Sims 3. Quite frankly, right now it is fast becomeing my fav game of all time, And I haven't even got to the part where I get to play with my sims!
The new 'create a sim' interface is quick and easy to learn and brings a whole new level to the term 'customize'. Finally we can pick the exact hair tone, highlights, tip colours and roots of our sins hair. We can ad freakles and change the length of their eyelashes! And the graphics! The eyes are shiny, and the skin is smooth - no more flat eyes ^^
Then once we get to the cloths - OMG! no more being stuck woth just two or three colours for one outfit. You can customize the colours matirals, anything you want! Its down right fantasic!
One of my favorite features so far though, has to be create a sytle. Say your sim is wearing a dress but the shoes you picked out just don't match? Well click on create a style and just drag and drop that dresses fature onto the shoes and vala,your shows are amde from the same metrial and colour as the dress! And it doesn't just go for cloths - oh no. It works on cubords tables - everything! It truely is the words best tool.
The one annoying thing I find, is the inability to create your own town - but that I can understand. The sims is now an open sandbox just waiting for your little guys to run about and explore. It must take a lot of coding to tell them where they can and can not got on their own. Still its a feature I will miss. I liked making my own twons so I may try and squeeze sims 2 back onto my PC just for that <3
I have alot more to say, but I feel that I should let you guys go and buy it and explore it yourselves. It is a wonderful game thus far - much improved on the old ones. Even if you've never plaied the Sims before, it doesn't matter. The sims 3 is accessable for all ages and users. Its tons of fun even with just the designing. So go one. You know you want to.
